Organizations and businesses can support programming on Channel 17 through:

• donations
• gifts
• contributions

In return, CableCom will acknowledge their commitment to community television through the replay of programming or Video Bulletin Board announcements.

Underwriting

Underwriting is the opportunity for organizations and businesses to support the ongoing coverage of community events for CableCom programming. The following community events are samples of programs available for underwriting:

• Railroad Days
• Memorial Day Ceremony
• Frosty Fest
• National Night Out
• District #94 and #33 Concerts, Recitals & Variety Shows
• WCCHS Sports (Football, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball)
• Special Meetings and Events
• Every City Council Meeting (live)
• Many, many more

Underwriting Acknowledgement - $25 per spot, minimum 10 airings

A 30-second video spot that runs before the scheduled program is given as an Underwriting Acknowledgement. This spot may contain various audio and video scenes, and it may include one type of contact information (i.e., phone number, address, URL, etc.). It must contain this announcement: "The following program was underwritten in part by a donation from . . . " There will only be one Underwriting Acknowledgement per program.

Grant Acknowledgement - $10 per spot, minimum 10 airings

A 15-second text-generated spot that runs at the end of a scheduled program is given for Grant Acknowledgement. It may contain a name of the organization with a logo, and may also include one type of contact information (i.e., phone number, address, URL, etc.). It must contain this announcement: "The preceding program was brought to you in part by a grant from . . ." There may be several Grant Acknowledgements per program.

Corporate Sponsorship Acknowledgement - $1 per day, minimum 30 days

Corporate Sponsorship is acknowledged during a15-second text-generated announcement that continuously cycles on the Channel-17 Video Bulletin Board. It may contain only the name of the organization and it must contain the following announcement: "CableCom would like to recognize (name of organization) for their support of community television. Sponsorship acknowledgements are cablecast a minimum of 4 times per day.
